Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Fortara Consultancy FZCO (“Vertara”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the Vertara partnership programme and the website vertara.ae. We respect your privacy and are committed to processing personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the UAE Personal Data Protection Law) and other applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.

This Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or apply to join our partnership programme, how we use it, and the rights available to you.

1Who we are

The data controller responsible for your personal data is Fortara Consultancy FZCO, a company established in the United Arab Emirates, operating the Vertara brand. For any privacy matter you can reach us at partners@vertara.ae.

2Data we collect

We only collect the data we need to review partnership applications and operate the programme:

  • Application details you provide through our form: full name, email address, phone number, applicant type (individual agent, agency or other) and any message you choose to add.
  • Referral and marketing attribution: the referral identifier of the partner who introduced you and campaign parameters (UTM tags) contained in the link you followed.
  • Technical data generated automatically when you use the website, such as approximate location, device and browser information, and data stored locally in your browser.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of data through this website, and we ask that you do not submit them.

3How we use your data

  • To review and respond to your partnership application and communicate with you about it.
  • To set up, manage and support the partnership relationship if your application is approved.
  • To attribute referrals correctly and calculate any rewards due to introducing partners.
  • To operate, secure and improve our website and services.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

4Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (which you give when submitting the application form), the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into one, our legitimate interests in running and developing the partnership programme, and compliance with legal obligations. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

5Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that operate our infrastructure on our behalf — including our customer-relationship management system, our partner-management platform and our hosting provider — strictly for the purposes described above.
  • Professional advisers, authorities or regulators where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

All service providers are required to protect your data and use it only as instructed by us.

6International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.

7Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including to manage the partnership relationship and to meet legal and accounting obligations. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

8Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Access to your data is limited to personnel and providers who need it to perform their role.

9Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, to request portability of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at partners@vertara.ae. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent UAE data protection authority.

10Cookies and local storage

Our website uses minimal browser storage — for example, to remember your language preference and to retain a partner referral identifier so that an introduction can be correctly attributed. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

11Children’s privacy

Our website and programme are intended for professionals and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

12Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date are always shown on this page.

13Contact
